My afcs gutted and like I said I've never pushed it past 45 I'm sure it will go more just haven't tried and as far as my timing its set at 16.5 for now

past 35 an hx35 only mkaes heat. Not sure about the 35/40 but your afc back togeatehr and tune it. You will make more power and get better milage.

I get 27 emty and 17 with 12000 pounds behind me

27 empty with an auto, 370's, and 191's ... I find that very hard to beleive

As long as my foots out of it and my cruise controls on at 70 mph I get 27 qnd if you're wondering how I got that number I filled my tank drove 225 miles down I 5 and put fuel in my truck. I had only burned 8.5 gallons. Do the math it come out to 27 mpg empty.

The key to an accurate calculation is to put exactly the same amount of fuel in it after the trip. Meaning use the same pump at the same station, at about the same time of day.

Sorry man. Without doing it more like I said above, you CAN'T get an accurate calculation with only 225 miles. Go a few tanks and keep track. Then post back up with your findings.

exactly, on my 94 before I pulled the motor I would average 22 mpg with my 5spd

So you can go 4050 miles on a tank of fuel???
