i'm gonna pull a sled shortly and i was wondering,i'm fixin to put a lock up switch in and what im wondering is,when i pull(in 4L drive)when do i hit the lock up?as soon as i start moving?thanks.

 

DOES ANYBODY OUT THERE KNOW WHEN I SHOULD HIT THE CONVERTOR LOCK UP SWITCH WHAN I'M PULLIN?

 

First time pulling? If it is I would say dont do it. You have to many other things to worrry about. If its not your first time does your VB allow lockup in first? If not he wehn yuou hit the switch its going to shift into 2nd lockup and lug the engine down. Your best bet is to let it shift into second and about 2000 rpm hit the switch. If you have the power let it shift into 3rd lock by you pushing the shifter to D. as soon as you stop moving but tires are still spinnig unlock the switch.
