That'll buy you some time. But if your planning on adding more power then your definetly going to need to build up your tranny or get an already built one.

takin it easy will help puttin around but when you put about 10,000lbs.behind it an start up a hill when she down shifts and throws about 700ft lbs of torque to that stock tranny it won't like it.

I had originally put in an ATS tranny in my truck and it had to be rebuilt out of the crate and I had to pay for the shop time because ATS wouldn't back it.

You can get a good suncoast tranny for 3 or 4k installed. It just depends how well built you want your tranny. If you go for getting one with everything on it (tc valve bodies etc) you'll be looking at 5k.

Something jacked up in my VB on my Goerend. It dropped line pressure down about 40psi letting something go in the trans. I called Dave and he wanted to send a new trans. I told him lets go with the VB first. He sent one and that didn’t help so he built a new Trans for me for free. I went with Dave for the customer service and warranty and now im glad I did. BTW that’s been in the last two weeks
