Anyone know how to remove the trans cooler line check *****?
I am installing a new 47re and Goerend tc in my '98 12-valve. The cooler lines need to be flushed and the check ball needs to be removed from the line.
But how do you remove it?
It is in a short section of rubbr hose, correct? Do you replace the hose with a new one that has no ball?
Do you remove the ball from the hose and put it back on?
How many are there? I was told there might be one at the heat exchanger on the side of the engine under the turbo and there might also be one at the radiator.
I need to know how to remove these check ***** before I drop the tranny because I have to do the swap and get it back on the road the same day.
thanks,
John
