no the wheel will not fit n your stock housing you need a compressor housing and back plate as well

then you were not at the 550 rwhp mark. 500rwhp has been done in an hx35 but it ran very hot and will not hold that power very long. a 35/40 could prob hit 500rwhp but its not gonna last and is goin to be very hot.

If a 35/40 could support 550 rwhp then why is a 62/65/14 only rated to support 500? hummmm????? bigger compressor, bigger exhaust wheel, better turbo overall and can support less power? something does not add up

You also just had to rebuild your engine. Anyways enough poking and back on subject

Are you doing a boosted launch or you just mashing the throttle? Like 94 12v (or was it 94cummins12v GAH! What is it with 12v and 94?) if you have too much fuel you will hurt your spool up rather than help it.

For instance, If I turn my chip up and then mash the throttle it takes FOREVER to light my S300. I also black out 4 lanes of traffic. If I roll into the throttle It lights a lot faster and I don't have near as many people giving me the bird.

You might try sliding your fuel plate back a bit as well as tightening up your AFC.

If I were you a would probably try to find an HE351 take off rather than a hybrid. It will take a little more work to fab up but it is a little stronger turbo IMO. It will support about the same as a hybrid.(same size compressor wheel)

Also since you have a "built" tranny( I would clarfiy that before you get too carried away with this) you can always hold the brake pedal to build boost and then let it out and mash the throttle.

A 62 is only a 2 mm jump from a hybrid. whereas the hybrid is a 6mm jump from a hx35. Will the 62 make it to 500 easier? sure. But the hybrid can still do it. a he351 can support 500 with the same size comp wheel. Also the exhaust housing on the hybrid that 94 cummins is talking about is a 16cm. A bigger housing will help top end flow.(which reduces drive pressure which helps increase hp.)

true its only a 2mm jump on the compressor side but what about the exhaust wheel? the s300s have stronger shafts and better wheels. the 35/40 is a good turbo but not for 500hp this is the point I am trying to prove

i did that and it spun 1st 2nd and 3rd.better i left at 10lbs boost.when it shifts it has like a 5-10 sec pause like it looses all power and it's all it can do to shift.what could this be?plus it will only hold about 15lbs of boost.
