i cannot find the 1s i want! ive had the parts guy at the dealership i work at look for like 2 weeks and he cant find em. i want NON GREASABLE that are not precision u joints. cant find em cept for chrysler u joints that r 88 bux dealer cost! any1 no where i can get some?

 

i know the realy good ones are like $250 a piece out of a company in the dieselpowermag

 

find your local dana/spicer dealer.

Your not going to find a GOOD and CHEAP u-joint. if you buy cheap you get cheap, thats life.

When i rebuilt my front end i had ordered up all of my stuff from a driveline shop (pats driveline/the gear center) and the genuine spicer/dana u-joints are F'n beefy looking!

They are much like some of the aftermarket units, they are beefy forged units, non greasable.

 

Yup, you get what you pay for IMO....

 

yeah thats true but im lookin at 100 bux a u joint thats rediculous i guess i have no choice

 

Why do you want them non-greaseable? I always thought that having fresh grease pushed in there often would extend the life of components considerablly.

 

Greasable u-joints are hollow which severely weakens them

 

well yes thats true but there only needed if you truck is only used for full time offroading or sledpulling. there a bi@ch on the road

 

well i ended up gettin some greaseable duralasts for now, if i decide to do some sledpulling ill swap em out but for now i need to get my truck goin

 

Duralast im sorry. those are the ones i went with first, didnt last more than a month
