Default injector QUESTION

i installed some 370 marine injectors, and when i went to start my truck after it started to get fuel back in the lines i pushed on the pedal a little and it blew alot of white smoke and now one of the injectors leaks.. could giving it throttle cause an injector to like "break"?? i'm taking my truck to a shop to get tuned on monday but i'm very curious right now..

I would pull the injector and check the washer. I had a washer that didn't set right in the tube and I was getting blow by around the injector. Isn't white smoke out the exhaust raw diesel, after it is warmed up?

370s haze at idle could be normal. Give it some time to see if it clears up when its warm. I would pull it out and re clean it just to make sure and then tighten them back down. What did you torque your hold down nuts to?

Another thing about installing injectors is that there will be fuel around the injectors from removing the lines. This will eventually dry up. Is the smoke of heavy or is it a haze like XZAQ103 is saying. Big difference between the two.

Not yet. I had the old girl painted and there was some places missed a few runs here and there along with some area that did not get feathered properly so I took the truck back. The guy was suppose to be done with it yesterday....

I will probably get the Super B installed 1st install the #10 plate order a set of 4K gsk's and then see about the timing.

How is the clutch doing for Jamie?
