Default New Turbo

Well the new turbo arrived today, thanks goes to Luke @ Diesel Dawg. I am still running the stock exhaust so I will have to purchase a 4" to 3" adaptor before starting the install. I really do not want to use the standard type of u bolt clamps. What do you use? I was thinking of locating some type of spring clamp but I don't know if these will work do to the slip fit of the adaptor.

I have to take my truck back to the painter for some spots hopefully he will have the truck for a few days. I still need a 4k gsk, I will only use the 3k portion of the kit. Hopefully I will make it to Springfield, Mo.

Thanks for the conversation the other day Jamie Wood and you to Luke.

Have a great evening.

Default Install

For those of you that have purchase this Turbo did you have to clock or was it a direct install?

Any install advice is welcomed.

TIA

the turbo should be direct bolt on

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

four nuts holding the turbo on =15mm box end wrench. v-band flange clamps =11mm socket, cresant wrench for the oil suply line and scrap the turbo oil drain line and rig up a high temp heater hose (blue hose with red inside) so you can direct it anyway you want

I located A 3" to 4" adaptor plus some wideband clamps, locally, so I can install the new down pipe to the stock exhaust. Hopefully this weekend I will get to install the SuperB and re-install the #10 fuel plate. Could be a great weekend.
