Default NEW INJECTORS install,NO START

new injector install, cranked over for about 30 secs with accelerator to floor.NO START.
i have doen this about 6 times now.tried cracking farthest injector line from driver off injector pump(how much do i open it?i turned it a full turn-3 turns).tried bleeding off from feul filter, pushed primer button ,cracked filter line to inj pump, saw feul coming out then closed.it acts like it wants to start when i close off the first line, tighten it up all the way....
also tried bleeding the return line when priming it and saw feul coming out of that line too.dont see any feul dripping from injector line one though.

i think i am going to open more lines see if i am getting feul there

any thoughts

thanks

try cracking all the lines a half to a full turn. Then try starting the truck. If it starts let it run for a second and then close the lines carfully while it is still running. It is GOING to make mess.

Just an idea, on little CAT engines (3106) you crack one line, crank and tighten, crack another, et cetera until they run even. Had to do it to a mixer that got air in the fuel lines. Took a while to get all the lines primed.

Sometimes you can get away with only cracking one line open, but its just as easy to crack open a couple (or all of them), then you know your going to get fuel right away.

i have cranked this truck over about a dozen times.i am charging my battery now and i will try again ....i think i will try cracking all the lines and then 1 and 3.i havent seen any feul come out of line 1 though.....
update

ok i got it running.i cracked all the lines and cranked for about 20 seconds and then tightened up which lines wwhere leaking feul, cranked again and almost started, saw that the rest were leaking so i tightened up those remaining injectors and then after cranking it fired up!

i ordered a set of 40hp injectors..i want feul economy over power(im hoping i wont diminish the sooner)...i definatley feel a difference in acceleration,it is quicker to get to 2k revs, although it seems to take a second longer when cranking to get the motor running.

it is smoking a lil more than i like....are there some cheap mods i can do to improve the air flow...ie intake and exhaust.
i was thinking of removing the heater element in after the manifold......
