i plan on installing injectors tommorow.it looks like i can get a wrench in there to take them out.What size deep socket will work?or is there a special 90 degree tool to take them out.

you will need a 10mm wrench for the fuel return, a 3/4" open end wrench for the fuel lines, and a 3/4" deep socket for the injector nut. you will also need some sort of pulling device to get them out, I thread a nut on top of the injector and jiggle it back and foward with a pair of vice grips till it pops out.

A piece of tubing and a wheel nut make for a cheap and easy injector puller. Slide the tube over the injector and tighten the nut onto the top of the injector, as the nut tightens up and hits the tube it pulls the injector up. Another option is to just thread the lugnut on and pry it up with a prybar.

Aside from the big nut, their is also a spring loaded ball that holds the injector in so they can be a bit of a PITA to pop out, but they will...

 

ok guys, i am installing some injectors.. but i cant get the 15/16 down in there cuz the fuel lines are in the way

 

You have to remove the fuel lines to install injectors. I have done it without removing and with removing the lines and it is 100 times easier to do it with the lines off. Take them off as a whole unit, do nto take them apart.

 

take the injector lines off from the pump to the injectors and take the return line off as well, when you put the injector in and press it down turn it clockwise till it stops, that will make it so the banjo bolts line up on the return lines
