anybody know where you can get a 1.25" billet input shaft. i broke my stock one, just install a new sbc dd clutch so i dont really want to spend $2500 on a clutch and big input shaft, at this current time.

found out that my truck will run 9.0 flat with a .59 reaction time. kinda how i broke it

9.0 in the eight mile? I dont think thats possible with a manually shifted truck in the quarter

 

oh ya its posible with a crap load of upgrades, and he may have enough of them

 

Give me a call as we can change the hubs in the discs. You do not have to buy a new clutch!

Well im not trying to say its not possible, but autos are faster than manuals... I can slam gears too but you very rarely see a manual going faster than 11, come to think of it I never have. Look at chris werners truck it has 1000hp on diesel and it only runs 10's... Its pretty light too. Besides that the reaction time is way to high .59. Did you mean .059? Thats a good reaction time. Not trying to **** in anyones cherios, i just question the questionable....

 

i ran a 9.0 in the 1/8 and the my reaction time was very bad .59 more then a half second(i was asleep at the light). my 2nd pass i improved greatly to a .08 reaction but didnt have the truck spooled on the line, and it fell on its face. i dont think i could run faster then a 14 second 1/4 my truck runs out of ***. (4k gsk will help fix this)
