i slid the plate all the way to the front (towards the front bumper) and it wont start now. im goin to take it back apart and put it back tomorow mornin. wat would cause that?

 

There should be no reason that the truck wont start due to the plate being full forward. your truck will run regardless, with or without the plate. I would check your shut off solinoid, if it is stuck on the off positoin then the truck will not start. try checking the function of that sucker, i bet you find your problem

 

yeah i bet u bent the shut off solenoid

 

or knocked a relay loose

 

idk what the actual wire is but when i took my AFC apart to cut my fuel plate i unplugged this one thing that is in black tubing about a half inch thick, it made the housing more easily accessible. anyways i forgot to plug the male end back into the female end and my truck wouldnt even turn over. then i realized i forgot it, plugged it i and started her up..

 

yea the plunger thing under it is bent

 

well did you he get gauges?

 

yeah check your solinoid and if that is fine then hit the primer button a few times and it should start
