Default installing gauges

ok so i know how to install my EGT gauge safely... I kno how to do my boost gauge somewhat but my friends dont think i should try myself bc i could mess up my turbo... and the trans temp, well i have no clue how to do taht... can anyone with experience inform me...?

boost gauge is easy! more so than the egt gauge, all you need to do is take off the 1/8 pipe plug off the intake thats next to the injection pump, then you instal the fitting that comes with the gauge. (Use pipe thread tape) then connect the line from the fitting to your gauge. its as simple as that. just make sure the line does not rub anything sharp or gets kincked because that will cause you to have a boost leak and give you a false reading. the tranny temp gauge is the same consept as the egt, its a pro gauge that you instal the probe in the trans pan. i recomend you get a deep tci pan and drill/tap it for the probe just like your egt gauge. just use cation routing all your lines so they dont rub sharp edges and or kink.

ya i think i'm just gonna have the transmission shop do my trans temp gauge when i get my tranny built up

um this local shop in town. this guy has been working on diesel trannys for a long time and he told me that for $2800 he can install a triple disk billet torque converter, build up my auto transmission and do some work with my valve bodies
