what would cause this????

Default what would cause this????
I just put this p pump in and within about 10 miles it went boom. Has any one ever seen this.

The pics are hard to see but the bottom of the injection pump gernaded.

where it went kaboom looks like the governor spring assembly, if they are assembled wrong or loose the nut will back out and blow apart the case. looks like thats what happened.

govener gernaded, somebody screwed up and didn't tighten something be fore he when to lunch and forgot after lunch. Call your rebuilder

I cracked the gov in half and bent one of the studs on my 215 in my 97. Learned the hard way that those nuts should be on at least a few threads Where is the pump from? Who did the work?
