if you have a 160, 175 or 180 pump it is a great investment as long as you have the mods to take advantage of it. A 0, deep 100 or no plate and a moded afc is what you need to make it work

and yes if fuels way harder, you get an extra 2mm of rack travel

Hmmm, well then i might have to dabble with the idea of getting one. BTW what do you mean by a "DEEP 100 plate" i just got a custom 100 from whitmore

Whats the difference between a 100 plate and a zero plate? I was looking into doing the rack plug too actually so this is good news.

the difference is full fuel @ all time with the 0 plate. the 100 will give you better driveability, and the fuel of the 0 @ full throttel. i am going with the 100 because i don't want to blow my trans and i have not had a diesl long enough to trust my self with the skinny pedal

Go to Diesel Performance Parts Power Chips Diesel Exhaust Intake Performance Products look it up in the 94-98 12valve section you should be able to find it pretty easily. Like it says above it just allows more movement of the rack inside your pump.

Its about 30hp with the right mods.

A #100 has a foot so you dont have to adjust the gov arm to run it at FF plus its not as hard on parts.
