i was wondering how i could get my turbo to spool faster its got no wastegate and no lines to it other than the oil feed line and return line buts its got the hole for the boost elbow, any input is good, also my afc got the line from it to the head or intake manifold its a small line i was wondering if that could be changed to a bigger line or maybe running it to the turbo or something

you could always change to a wg housing. If not add that intake in your sig some timing and some tuneing

 

plate, afc, timing and starwheel for the cheep way

 

the starwheel is all the way foward my 100 plate should be here any day and im slding the afc foward when i put my plate in, and the timing im trying to decide if im going to do it myself, or take it somewhere. the diesel places in this area dont have good reps if u know what i mean.

 

well my first three guestions would be 1.)guages? and 2.)what tranny and 3.)is there anything built up on the tranny

 

i got guages not installed yet but maybe this weekend ,its a auto tranny 47rh its got a bd converter on it, the valve body has been upgraded ,shift kit, new clutches and bands which was done before i bought it.i got reciepts he payed about 5 grand for everything to bew done to the tranny

 

Wait, I'm not aware of ANY of these trucks coming from the factory non wastegated. Did you take it off?

 

holset never made any non gated turbos for the cummins 12v or 24v
