ISNT THERE SOME 1ST GEN.TRUCKS THAT DONT HAVE WASTE GATES.AND WILL THE INTERCHANGE WITH MY 2ND GEN?

It is not uncommon for people to put bigger exhaust housings an an hx 35. Not all of them are wastegated. A bigger housing will hurt spool up but give better top end power.

im just wondering if i should find another turbo, all the guys i know who have the same yrs in dodge i do have waste gates on their turbos, i took the silencer ring out of mine and u still cant hear it spool to about 2100 prms and i took the stock air box off and put a cheap aftermarket filter on it, but theres no play in the turbo its all good
