they can build up your stock one, is it and auto or manual? by the way quit hyjacking other peoples threads that dont have anything to do with your topic. creat a thread that has to do with your problem or post in a related thread

i do know about the boost elbow you are so anciuos to learn about. as far as your tranny you can be expacting to spend atleat a grand to get it rright. there have been guys put 4k in a auto id just depends on the power you are looking for. you need minumum a new torque converter and valve body which isnt cheep. while your that far a manual lockup is a good thing to have. what do you need to know about the boost elbow

the boost elbow goes in the turbo compressor housing. right at the compressor extuser you will see a round flat spot on the front you have to drill and tap that with a 1/8" pipe thread tap and it will screw in there. im not sure on the 96' if ther is just a standerd elbow there or not. the elbow does nothing for power it just controlls how much boost is let into the head which intern is more boost=more power under 35psi.

as for your tranny you might want to do something in a hart beat beacause with that fuel plate you have and a trailer you will toast you tq converter faster than you put that fuel plate in.
