yea me to... since i went to trade in my 93 12v dodge 4x4 5spd with only 185k miles on it and the dealership only offered me $2750 for it... me and my friends call em dura-wax.. pos or whatever comes to mind first

 

he is bullshitting you, becasue thats what he does, there is no dealership in there right mind that will give 10k for that truck on traid in, he cant even get that much from a privat party unless it was a kid like he was when he bought it

yea i give it to them duramax trucks are fast but any truck can be with the right upgrades

 

I had an 02 dmax before this 94 12v i just bought for 3 grand needed a t case.I sold my dmax for the down paymenton my house.There nice trucks but to get out of the inj problem first gen era you need to buy at least an 04.5 then you need a built trans cause its still only a 5 speed ali.Then after 550 600 horse you need rods thats big money.My 12v maybe louder and not have as many creature comforts but i like it,o and its reliable!

i would never by chevy, let alone a d-max, my ole boss had a 04 dully and it was a joke, my dads 99 24valve would rip it a new pooper. i guess i am just a stuborn dodge man that like to go fast and have a nice "HEAVY DUTY DODGE" not a half ton chevy deraterd. who in there right mind would put an independent front suspension in a 3/4ton? i will stop buying new dodge trucks the day they do that bull. get myslef a nive 46 powerwagon and put a 12valve in it. that would be the sickest truck going. BTW i will give farm boy 50 bucks and a sandwich for his truck if he still wants to sell it hahaha
