Default turbo brain fart

ok guys ive had a number of different turbos on my truck; stock wh1c, hx35, hx35/40 hybrid over and s300, currently a hx35/40 hybrid with a 16cm nongated housing, my though is how hard or would it even be posible to creat a hx35/50 hybrid?

i dont think you would gain anything here, i would just get a good aftermarket one like a 66 at least

that sounds like a super way to break the shaft but i dont think its possible.

the Coaltrain Diesel guys just made a HX40/55 hybrid not too long ago, took a bit of machine work but they got it working

IIRC it had a trimmed and balanced turbine sized for a 14cm housing, Mark said it would take a little bit of fuel to get her to really light

well i guess im keeping what i got, i have the power i want, cant do twins and an exhaust break at the same time. one or the other and i pick the exhaust break

That is the turbo I use to run on my truck. It was not to bad on the street with my 5sp. It is a hybrid hx55 with an hx40 16cm w/g exhaust housing.
