need to up grade the truck slips the one its got. the truck makes like 400 hp but im planning to do more, so i kinda wanna over buy here. im on a budget though all i can find thats rated for more that 500hp are like 2k. any ideas?
2k whos you can get a valair 6speed 13" conversion full ceramic with hd hub upgrade rated at 600hp 1200tq delivered with flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, starter spacer, both bearings and tool is under $800
its rated for 600hp with upgraded clutch, it is still a 6 speed clutch for a 5 speed, i have a 94 nv4500 5 speed with that exact clutch

its not my favorit clutch in the world, its grabby as hell, you have to start out in first every time without reving it and slipping it, backing up trailers is bad since the clutch doesnt slip easily, it holds up great with my estimated 500hp and towing 20k up passes, i like it alot since i couldnt afford a dual disk, it was well worth the $$, it has held up to multiple 3rd gear rear wheel drive 15psi boosted launches
its not bad for shifting, i dont use the clutch half the time it doesnt grab shifting like it does starting out, i have tried mine in secound but like i said it dont like to slip at all, its easyer to start in 1st besides i get mine rolling coal out of every 5 gears rather than just 4
haha gotta love rolling coal....i just want to be able to use all of my power and beat my buddies tuner car and some of the diesels around. i know i can but my clutch slips.
this clutch will be good for racing, to tell ya the truth that is the biggest single disk clutch on the market without stepping into a dual disk, ive raced so many ricers with mine it aint funny, but i have to do a boosted launch because our truck are 5 times heavier than them dinky cars
