You will need to unplug the WIF (Water in Fuel) sensor then just spin it off.

When you get a new filter you will need to swap the sensor from the old filter to the new filter.

Some guys unbolt the four nuts on the brake booster...But you could turn the fuel filter without moving it....Standard oil filter wrench will work...When you start the truck, your volt meter should move back and forth till the intake warms up...This indictes the grid heaters are cyling..hope this helps...

cody your tranny is f'ed when i drove i back to your house that day it didnt seem like it was shifting right. as far as it staring if you would put either stock springs back in or get actual 3k gs it would start a lot easier. im about too get 4k gs so if you want ill sell you my stockers for cheap.

Well heres the first update, i didn't change my fuel filter yet but i did take my truck to Amaco transmissions and they hooked it up to a scanner and said everything was running good as far as the transmission. But iam still puzzled!! Sometimes my Torque Converter locks up, Sometimes it locks then unlocks!!! What do you guys think?

hi
i t sounds like your tps is acting up .

replace it or drill it and clean it .

mind acted same way till i drilled and clened it !

perfect now .

just saw you have a 24 v sooo try wraping the alt main wire with foil to stop interfearance with convertor lock up signals.

Im thinkin the same thing. If you dont get the springs set right, it can mess up your starting.
