Default John Deere Turbo

I pull my truck almost every weekend and for our street diesel class were limited to a 2.6 (66mm) turbo. Iv herd alot of guys putting on John Deere turbos for this class for about half the price as what one for htt and other companys can sell them for. If any body has any info on this it would be great!

Default John Deere 66mm turbo hookin

I have been allowed to run this years..but they say not again and if bushed it has to be non removable..we know how rulls go up down n around..its a slow spinner not a real advantage over a true 66 300s pullin but when it lights its a rush and it cools better..as a daily driver I have to be easy on the smoke...im auto a stick should do fine...if your thinking about it it runs great..If your caught off guard..its a turd..

Been working for Deere for 7.5 years, and I'm pretty sure they don't make their own turbos. I might be able to get the part guys to see if they can find a 66mm. I doubt it will be cheaper though, everything is marked up.... a lot.
