I give this guy 5 months before he comes back on and asks how to make power without clouding out a 4 lane. Or maybe just maybe he will use the search button.

 

smoke gets old...quick!... unless its tire smoke when your turbo lights at 40mph... then its good!

smoke is the ****! i can cloud out a whole city block with my '94 12 valve it probly helps to have the 7" bull hauler stacks though.

 

why is it the you are wasting fuel and giving diesels a bad name that is why they are cracking down on the emmision laws make power not a black shower

 

yea so u can cloud out a block n get 10 mpg...

 

look just plain and simple black smoke = higher egt's exhaust gas temperatures NOT GOOD that doesnt mean more power! best thing is to rip the air box out get an aftermarket filter advance has them for about 20 bucks i keep extras in my truck....take the afc housing off slid plate full forward then back just a tad but afc housing back on slid all the way forward then tune starwheel......make sure you have gauges in the truck before you do this or you may end up spending a lot of money to fix what you break......ask anyone on here and they will tell you the same.....but just look around on the site and you will find what you need
