Default Gov. Spring Question

Hey guys, just wondering what the stock spring is actually governed at? Guessing its in the 2k's? I was also wondering...when im spoolin around town, overdrive off, and crack it in third, it goes like hell, then falls a bit flat around the mid 2's... the truck doesnt have much done, and i have a #8 plate set on the way. Just wondering if the gov spring is causing that? Thanks Guys , Len

Yes a 4K will make it pull much harder to about 3100-3400. You really need more advanced timing past that. Oh and anything past 3200 could float the vales.

Still a 3K or 4K kit will make the truck pull. You would wonder how you could drive it without. Even with a 3k kit, I have to watch the tach to keep it under 3400..
