Default Fuel Problem

I've got a 94 12v and I have been getting a lopeing idle lately, sometimes this leads to a clacking under the hood, and loss of power, but most of the time just lopeing! anyone know of this problem? Just replaced leaky return line off IP, and fuel fillter... Thanks

that will be a fun one after work tomorrow! Do you think that the clacking could be a fuel knock from lack of fuel? If it's lopeing with the hood up and I pump on the lift pump, seems to make it go away? to top it all off seems to be pretty intermitent so it is driving me up the wall

I had kinda the same thing happen. On mine the arm on the bottom of the shutoff soliniod i dont know if it'll make any sense.. but theres a snapring on the soliniod arm, and it poped out of it's place not making the shutoff lever go all the way up. just something to check before droping the tank?

So I have now replaced the overflow valve and seems to have given me a bit more presure, the pressure gauge is still fluctuating a bit 20-25 at idle, 22-30ish at 2000rpm, and 25-35 under load at 1500 and up. haven't gotten any clacking but need to drive it some more, did get a bit of loping though, could air be causing that? when I push the prime pump and everything is closed off I can still hear a bit of a squeak like something is making it out somewhere, any ideas? is that normal?

Fuel pressure sounds appropriate.
