I have searched the forum for this but couldn't find anything, so I'm gonna bring it up. I noticed since the day I bought the truck. When I let out of the clutch in 2 gear and oil pressure drops quite a bit...maybe to 15-20 when normal operating is @ 40 psi. Also normal engine temp is. about 160-185.I use 15w40 shell. I know I'm suddenly putting a load on engine and oil pressure is going to drop a little bit, but that much?. My old 96 was an auto and didn't notice that much fluctuation. I've been at work all nightb and I'm shot. So prob left details out.my buddy has a 98 12 valve 5 speed and sometimes he let's out on the clutch and low oil pressure light comes on and beeps at him for a second..any help would be appreciated. its the sender, if ya wanna confirm oil pressure ya can tap the port on top of the oil filter head and run a mechanical gauge to prove everything is OK
