Default Holset hx40 wheel and housing p/n's , if you care

The last hyrid I used/had was purchased. The hx 35 on another cummins I own was in need of rebuilding, so I figured I'd save money and do the work myself. I went to a local turbo shop and got the rebuild kit, $80 bucks. I then went on to ask if he knew of or could help with a hx40 wheel and housing for a hybrid. While only serviceing standard oilfield turbos and equipment he had not heard of this but called his supplier to see what was up. His supplier in IL. new exactly what I/he was talking about and gave him the holset part numbers for the swap and also the c'bore diameter needed to machine the housing to.

The compressor wheel I used is p/n 3599550 and matching housing 3539026. The housing backing plate needs to be machined to 3.450", same depth as currnet hx35. The housing cost $128.36 the wheel $95.15 and $10.49 shipping. Cheaper than places I've seen before. The housing machining was a piece of cake, chuck the housing in a lathe, use a live center and a small boring bar. Less than 10 minutes. The turbo shop is Wyoming Turbo in Casper Wyoming. Speak to Terry.

By the way, it is on a 12valve, don't know if the housing is different for 24's etc.
