Default Dodge!!!!!!!

Ok im pissed my throttle cable broke in March. I called dodge and there was a recall on my truck but it had already been done and I would have to by the cable and parts. So I had to buy the parts to fix it. It wasn’t too bad 5x.xx I think. Well guess what I get in the mail…. A card saying I have a throttle cable issue and to bring it in to get fixed… What the hell. Why cant a company stand behind there product? Cracked dash, KDP, VP44, ETC….

I went in a couple years ago to get my truck serviced and the service writter told me about a recall on my throttle cable. So i had them rerplace it.After they replaced it the mechanic tried to take it off the lot for a test drive, but could't because the now the throttle linkage was sticking. So they said that there was no recall on the linkage so i had to pay for that.

The bad thing is that i had a friend buy the parts and i paid him back (he was already making a trip to dodge that day) and i installed the parts myself.

I had the throttle cable problem also. Called dodge to see if the recall had been done, they said no it hadn't been done, but they couldn't fix it for me cause I didn't own the truck at the time of the recall. Talk about po'd

zip tes duct tape bailin wiire it all works but a recall is a recal contact your states transportation board they cant say you didnt own the truck at the time of recall as an excuse not to do the work they have to perform the work or reimburss you for the work done period if they dont you have legal rights and can sue them
