How long have you owned this truck? any idea of what kind of maintenance its had?

What kind of "tune up" are you looking to do?

Why not learn some about your truck and do it yourself?

BTW, DO YOU KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT THE KILLER DOWEL PIN (KDP)???

most of it is very easy! It really depends on what you consider a "tune Up " and what the truck need's for us to price it!

WHERE are you buying youre filters from??? Youre getting ripped off.

Get your filters from a Cummins Repair Centre. I pay $13 for a Stratapore oil filter and around $20 for a fuel filter.

That's great if your comfortable with it. I won't buy anything from a Dodge dealer unless absolutely necessary. I think they have way to inflated prices for me. And a lot of times I can get a better after market part. jmo

Heck, Even at the dealership, an oil filter cost me $11.00??
Almost the same price on everything that Dr. E Quoted.
I also wouldnt run rotella unless i couldnt find anything else! Valv. Blue only for all of our customers trucks! I would check for algae in the fuel, and would run a good fuel treatment and thats basicly a good tune up unless its an auto truck!

Ok, explain the reasoning to me. Do you think that the filters you get from Dodge are any better than the filters from Cummins? They are ALL Fleetguard filters and are made by a division of Cummins. Dodge just has the oil filters painted grey so they look different.

As for the Rotella, I will have to agree with Lucas - Rotella is about the last oil I would use. Its ok, but there are better choices, IMHO.
