Temp Gauge?

my water temp gauge went out and i was going to get an aftermarket one but i dont exactly know how to install one on a diesel, a little help would be great. thanks guys

i had to do that im my budies 95 cummins. all we did was drill a hole in one of the freeze plugs and tapped it for the temp sender, it works great

does anyone know where the sending unit is. i dont know where stuff is yet, had the truck for only a few weeks.
