Default Trading A Ford For A Dodge.... What To Look For

Just kind of out of the blue I found a guy who wants to trade his 1994 3500 for my 1997 F-250 7.3L truck.

So knowing very little about Cummings, what should I look for on this truck, which is a 1994 12-valve with 261,xxx miles and a NV4500. Supposedly a newer clutch, batteries, rubber return line and fixed a leaky axle seal on the rear axle, as well as upgraded the starter solenoid.

Other then reading a bunch of stuff about killer dowel pin problem, what else should I be asking or looking for.

First: Welcome To Diesel Bombers !

Second: its not Cummings its Cummins

Third : Sounds like a Good Deal , its the first year of the 2nd Gen trucks it has the smallest P7100 Pump put in a Cummins 160 HP but can be made to make alot more for very low $$$ , other than the KDP not much to worry about

You can also get a carfax report also to see if it's had any accidents.
