Please do not laugh at this when you read it,but,it does and has worked for me many times with a hydraulic clutch system....

Park the truck somewhere where the nose is down lower than the rear.Remove the cap off the clutch hydraulics and shut the hood leaving it sit overnight.Next morning top off the fluid ,if neccessary, replace the lid and go about your normal driving habits.Usually when it sits like that with the system open it will bleed itself off and remove the air.

I actually laughed at a old mechanic friend of mine when he told me that.We had done a SBC install and the buddy I helped rebuilt his hydraulics instead of buying a new unit. The problems started like yours and when I went back to one of my mentors he told me this and I looked at hime like he was nuts and made a bet.

He never did open that bottle of Old #7 and when he passed on his wife gave it back to me.I leave it on the shelf over my reloading bench as a reminder that even in a world full of new gadgets and electronic gizmos, old school methods still work........Andy

P.S..You can even jack the rear of the truck up and sit it on stands overnight to do the same thing as long as you get the tail higher than the nose.
