I have a 1996 dodge ram 2500 5.9L 12 valve with the 47re. Everything works except overdrive, overdrive button and cruise control. Cruise control will power up and light up green but will not set. I have tc lock up. It also has the 4.10 gears. I have changed the govener pressure solenoid and trans temp sensor, filter and fluid. It runs 2100 rpm at 55mph with no effort to hit overdrive. When i took it to a shop before i changed trans temp, it was showing -85 degrees F. My overdrive button doesnt do anything, but when you turn the headlights on, the od light on the button will illuminate.
