I saw this video on you tube where a guy tore apart a Carter and DCEC lift pump. He said he got them both from poormansdiesel on eBay. When the Carter failed the eBay guy told him about the DCEC that was built in a factory half owned by Cummins and said it was a better pump. Anyways the seller evidently was a stand up guy and replaced the failed Carter with one of these DCEC pumps. In the video it shows how sloppy the Carter is compared to the DCEC.

Does anybody here know anything about this DCEC or Poor Man's Diesel?
