Default Voltage spikes on left turns

It started blowing the #9 fuse (driver door block) so i gradually kept upping the amperage to now 30amp. That being the largest autozone carries it started blowing the 30amp eng.control but at completely random times. I have now soldered a piece of metal between the fuse blades so It cannot blow shutting the truck off and leaving me in a predicament I know this is strongly advised against but I have to get to work somehow. I'm pretty sure I've narrowed it down to a green or green with black stripe lime green wire looking at the 96 service manual. Today was also the first day under full acceleration that the voltage spiked if more than half throttle was applied. This is the third alternator in the last 10 years this current one is 6 months old. Help
