Default Idle creeping up

Ok so I just got my pump back from a pump shop. Had them max the flow, put different dv's and put a set of 5kgsk and they timed the pump to 20*. Problem is after I installed it the seems to creep up to about 1500 rpm. It's a standard so when I put it in gear and let the clutch out it goes back down to about 700 rpm. The truck is a 1994 but the injection pump is a 913 off a 1998. I don't think that would be a problem tho. So my question is why does the idle creep up so high? Other mods are custom fuel plate and 5x.012 injectors. The old pump never did this, it idled fine but in order for it to take off with out stalling you would have to give it a lil gas.

Default

did you reset your idle to the 700-800 range? mine goes from like 600-700 once it warms up. when in installed a new injection opump the idle had to be reset. im sure yours will as well. if the idle is set at 800 and creeps up to 1500 thats odd. somthing could be sticking?or you just have the idle set high
