I'm new here and transmission are my weak point. I picked this truck up last June. And it had a switch hooked up for 4th gear and another for my torque converter. And it's starting to get annoying and was wondering why some one did this and how would I get rid of the switches? It looks like they run straight to the transmission, couldn't see any running to the pcm. I'm not sure one what trans is in it. I found paperwork for a 46rh in the glove box and Idk what to look for to make sure. I only thought the 46 was in gas models. Any help would be appreciated, I plan on getting the whole thing rebuilt an beefed up so if the wires are something I can fix ima do it to save a little money.
