Default Did a new head gasket and ran the truck without coolant

Trust me I know I'm the ultimate idiot. But here's what happened. I did a head gasket and bigger head studs and a new clutch on my 1997 dodge 12 valve. It was a long project because it sat while I was waiting for parts to arrive. I put fluid in the transmission and Tcase and forgot to fill it with coolant. Let it idle for 20 minutes then shut it off to re-torque the head stud let it idle again till it was warm an then drove it down the driveway and realized there was no coolant and shut it off immediately. I filled it up and started it again and obviously no it sounds like hell And makes some kind of winning nose at higher RPMs I assume the motor is blown and I need to pull it and get a new one. Just looking for some advice.....

Before I would pull motor, I would pull injectors.
Turn motor over to see if any noises.

Ok I will try that. The motor sounds stars and drives the same as the day I bought it. The turbo just won't spool. It's drives great until I should hit boost then in bogs out and blows white smoke

Pull breather, see if you can move turbo wheel side to side or in and out.
