intake heater question
Hi Folks,
'96 2500, 4wd, auto...lost wait to start buzzer and rev lights (fuse is good,related electrically?). Also,how warm should the heater get when cycled checking with an infared gun? Getting cold here again...

A clamp style DC ammeter is a great troubleshooting tool. An AC one can work in a pinch if it has a peak/hold snapshot feature.
Each grid should draw ~100amps. The relays eventually burn up. Some will even still click, but fail to conduct current because their contacts are fried.
