Default Injector Tip Swap

A friend of mine got a couple sets of tips for a commonrail 5.9l and was wondering if they would fit onto my 94 5.9l.
I did a bit of internet research and didnt come up with much, it seems that they sell tips based on which gen engine, but he is convinced that they would just swap out.
Anyone have any experience with tips?

Even if they would interchange I doubt the spray pattern would be correct. The better option would be to sell the common rail nozzles and buy some that are made for our trucks.

I have never tried it but the cone angle would not be correct for a 12v.

Pintles are different. Flow is MUCH less. 100HP CR nozzle flows about what a 215HP stock nozzle does.

If you want some good nozzles send me a PM.

Id def go with dap as one of your options. Great prices and service. Had a set of their 5x16 sacs after I ran a set of cheaper 5x12 vco from another company and they ran cleaner and cooler. Can't wait to use the 155 5x16 I got for my new engine
