Default Fueling question.

Saturday I put the 3k gsk in my 97. I followed the directions and it runs just like it did before. The idle is smooth and I don't think that it increased the 50 rpms they said were normal. Empty it will turn to 3 grand but when it is loaded heavy and in 4th gear it quits pulling hard at 2200 now. Even empty it takes a little bit to wind it up. Also when it is cold and I shift it will kind of sputter then pick up and run fine. My question is do I need to increase the spring pre-load by one click. I checked the spring height with a caliper and reset the new springs as close as possible. I figured one of you would know.

How did the truck run before the GSK was installed?

It ran pretty good. I think I have it figured out. I turned the springs in one more click and adjusted the star wheel a little bit. It's pulling pretty good now.

I was going to suggest turning them in a click or two. Glad your getting it straightened out
