The problem:
Headlights don't work and high beams work if you hold up the blinker lever but will not stay engaged.

I have checked the fuses and all are good. Couldn't see any obvious shorts or opens. Feel like it could be the switch but that wouldn't explain why the highs won't stay on.

Any advice on where to go from here?

 

my 94 had similar problem with lights. My main on and off switch was bad. I replaced and lights work fine. hope that helps
