I was cruising about 45 today then a duramax rode up next to me and got on it. I did the same then I immediatly noticed my truck shaking. I slowed down and it kept doing it I limped home and parked it and I am stumped please help. I am going to start tomorrow by changing the fuel filter and prescreen. Doesn't white smoke or seem to have power loss. It almost sounds like it's missing or something

 

Check Fuel pressure .. do you know if you have a fuel leak ( check the return line off the IP) ..

Low fuel pressure can cause some really strange issues

 

I have ran into many issues that I would have never expected to have to do with air in your fuel lines. Check EVERY point in your fuel system. Weak/old fuel lines that don't look cracked can be invisible to the naked eye and can cause you tons of problems. I was also thinking that if you went from say 35mph cruising to WOT you may have possibly slipped the fuel injection timing? could be a possibility why its loping or acting like its missing.

Return line .. mine was cracked .. then Ifoun the line was cracked .. fixed it .. and runs good .. so I repaced the OFV .. DANG !!! runs like a beast @ 30 psi @ idle ..
