alright fellas if it ain't one thing its the next, so i have been trying to figure out why my wipers won't work on delay, I have all of the lower dash removed including the steering column covers. I noticed my ignition wires have (at some point in this trucks life) brunt up to just about nothing, honestly can't believe it still starts. So i've been fiddling with those a little, haven't repaired them yet. Anyway the truck has been sitting for about 7 days and just tried to start it this morning and it only cranks.

On rare occasions it would crank and not start on the first attempt of the day, but as soon as I stopped cranking and retried it would fire right up and not have any problems for the rest of the day.

So, I currently do not have a fuel pressure gauge so I don't know if is even getting pressure. I cracked the line on top of the lift pump (or what i think is cracked) and nothing came out. Should I try cracking it more? Also is there wiring under the dash that would cause my truck to not get fuel? Is there anything else I can try to diagnose the problem? I'm trying to make sure I don't have any other wiring problems before (if needed) I buy a fass lift pump

 

check and see if your fuel shut-off silenoid is working. i had a problem the other day on a john deere tractor with this. turned out to be a fuse blown.
