Default 3gsk help

I just installed my 3k gsk last night, I can clearly see the fueling difference but even at WOT it's still shifting at about 2300, and that's after I adjusted my kickdown a bit for higher shift points, one nut measured to .048 and the other .025 for some reason, and I put them back on at those measurements, could this be why I'm not seeing anywhere near 3000 rpm at WOT or is this normal for autos.
