heres another pic. it cost me about 500 bucks in material to make the flatbed. it was easy to make but it was over 100 degrees the week i was building it that made it seem hard!

i used 2by5 inch square tubing to make the outside rectangle then used 2by4 inch square tube to do the 4 inside rails so when i used the sheetmetal to lay on top of the bed it sat inside about 3/4 below. i went 76 inches outside to outside and 8 feet front to back to fit the single wheel.i used 2 inch square tube to run front and back to lay on the trucks frame rails. that set the bed at a nice level.then ran 8 four inch channel off the 2 inch rails that run along top of the truck frame at about 5inches long each to connect to the frame holes. the front section i used 2 inch square with sheetmetal leftover from the floor of the flatbed that i had cut from a 10 foot by 71 inch piece. i had the shop cut 2 feet out of the 10 foot sheet so i could use 8 feet for the top and 2 foot for the front rail.now i have bedliner on the inside of the floor of the bed which looks great!
