Question Smoking problem.

I have a 96 2500 auto, with a bhaf 4in exhaust and the stock fuel plate slid forward. when I give it full throttle it smokes a little bit, but every now and then it will just black out the highway. it only does it like 1 out of 50 times. any idea what may be causing it?

Please fill out the sig ...

I would assume that your trans is starting you off in 2nd gear ... that will do it ..

try shifting to 1st, then take off and shift up manually .. make sure the trans is warm .. I shift mine both up, and down ..

Keep posted on what it does ..

The stock fuel plate slid forward, Bhaf, and 4in exhaust. Also a factory rebuilt transmission.

Yeah .. that will cause some issue .. Need to put a gauge in it to ensure your not tossing parts just to toss parts ..
