Power loss
Is it me or should my truck have more power? From a dead stop if I mash the pedal to the floor my truck just sits there like I'm tied to a tree. After about 2 seconds it will go but not very fast. My top speed is every bit of 75-80 and it takes me awhile to get there. Truck is completely stock I just had the trans rebuilt with no upgrades. It's like I have a 4 cylinder gas motor in my truck. What is my problem? I'm not expecting a 6 second truck by no means but my cummins is pathetic right now. Does anyone know what could be wrong?
ya its a bone stock 12 valve they are complete turds. couldnt pull a ***** out of bed until you start givin them the fuel.
think about it. your honda civic makes as much HP as your truck and weighs 5 times less. no HP no $hit eating grins just boring slow and steady wins the race jazz.

I was gonna move the fuel plate today but I couldn't get tamper proof screw out. I beat on that thing with a hammer and screw driver until I was tired of doing it. I couldn't find my long flat head that may have helped a little. I tried adjusting the star wheel but couldn't tell if it moved or not can't really tell a difference.
