Default Think the turbos maxed out

With what's in my signiture, and the fact I'm doing about 900 to 1000 degrees on egt at about 65 to 70 telling me the hx35 is out of its ball park

I don't see your signature but I would say either too much fuel or a boost leak

#0 fuel plate pushed all the way up, afc WFO,boost elbow,60lb springs,4gsk,Mac plug,80hp industrial injection injectors,intake,straight pipe,double disc tq, on a single stock turbo

Have you tested for boost leaks? You are expecting a lot from that turbo.

I keep hearing about the 62/65/14's ... and I hear manny great things .... and they work great with a ht3B or the HT60 ... seen a few set ups like that ..

I don't think the turbo is your problem, I think the pump needs to be tuned better. Either that, or the popoff on your injectors is out of whack. Happens sometimes with new injectors, they're great out of the box but once they break in the bar pressure is off. Regardless, I ran the stock turbo with more or less the same setup but bigger injectors and no plate, and was normally a couple hundred degrees cooler at those speeds. If anything I should have been hotter. Only other significant difference is my timing, which is part of the tuning I'm talking about. Bump it up into the 15-16 range, tighten up the AFC a little and see how that goes. I was regularly pushing over 40psi out of my stock turbo for years (probably well over 100K miles) and EGTs were never a problem.

"Tighten up the afc" as in screw the starwheel back in some, how bad would a Mac plug effect egts

How Long till the injectors are broken in, I have about 40miles on it so far
